The 9-5 hustle is great for some people, but others just can’t stand it. Something about having to wake up each morning and get to work. They feel as if their schedule should be more flexible. We tend to agree. Part of the reason we got into business ownership in the first place is we wanted to free up some of our daytime.
If you are reading this, chances are you have thought about owning a business of your own once or twice. Entrepreneurship is not easy and isn’t for everyone. The hours are long and it can be a roller coaster of ups and downs. If you are toying around with the idea of starting a business, you can do it. We are here to help you identify if you would be a good fit for franchising. We can then help guide you towards which is going to be your best possible opportunity.
What are your excuses?
“I don’t have enough time… I don’t have the right connections… I don’t know what opportunities are available… I can’t take the risk…I’m not comfortable with change…It’s too hard.”
And ultimately those excuses stem from fear. The fear and anxiety that failure is lurking right around the corner, but should that stop you? If your daughter told you that she didn’t want to try out for the dance team because she was scared she wasn’t going to make it, any good parent would encourage her to attend try-outs anyways but to be prepared beforehand. Memorize the dance moves, practice the performance piece, learn the music and as every encouraging mom or day would say “just have fun, honey!”
It’s important that we remember what we teach our kids on a daily basis is something that we need to uphold ourselves. Our excuses for not giving ourselves a better opportunity for the future will ultimately reflect the next generation. We prepare ourselves by education, practice, and relinquishing those inner demons so that fear doesn’t get in the way of better things.
As George Washington Carver said, “Ninety-nine percent of all failures come from people who have the habit of making excuses.”
So stop making excuses and start educating yourself on how you can achieve entrepreneurship. I’ve got the knowledge, the resources, the network, and the experience to help you turn those fears into opportunities. Contact me today, I’d be happy to chat and help in any way possible!
